Hoping for a big tonight hopefully Marty can get on a roll again we need both goalies going if we are going to have a chance this season ! I am really starting to wonder what is up with these injured players. Larsson in particular.

Really starting to wonder why USA gave guys like Danny Dekeyser and Jacob Trouba invites to USA Orientation Camp instead of Greene. I would love to get Polie's take on if they are actually still scouting for Sochi or just unfairly putting the team together based on big names.

Two good games, three bad games, three bad games, two good games... its a bit of a maddening season so far. Every time you think a mini-streak might start, a mini-slump starts. And vice versa.

Top line for Boucher playing with two big bodies who can create a lot of scoring chances. I know he's still developing, but I'd love to see it click really well.

Hopefully the team's well rested because they were definitely looking tired in the wings and rangers games. It would be nice to start getting some bodies back offensively too.

Greene also didn't even get invited to the WC last year and Stephen Gionta and Carter both did. What the hell did he do to become so hated by USA hockey?

Maybe he opted to sign with the Devils instead of the Preds when coming out of college. Not sure what Polie has against him.

I wouldn't mind him but I don't think you can get him without giving up Greene + and then you have to pay him a retarded sum of money just to stay here but I have a feeling if we where offering in the same ball park of what he is asking he would consider. They style of play and his age make me really think Stevens was an idol of his growing up and he would likely love to play for him even though he is the defensive coach and he would be way out of the media spotlight.

I mean which defensive specialist would you keep and which would you move to get Dion both guys I would offer and am suggesting in this question would give them cap relief and fix a potential need.
1. Andy Green and a middle of the road prospect for Dion. You get to keep Zajac and our center depth but lose our best defense man to gain a pretty good one and the leafs get a huge cap relief and a guy who can eat up the minutes Dion was and be as effective defensively.

Zajac for Dion. You get that great Pair of Greene and Phaneuf and lose our best defensive forward. They get a better center then Bolland, Mcclement, Kadri and Bozak. (maybe still not the #1 guy they want but pretty close to a number 1 with a better cap hit then Dion will get on his new contract.

Or just pray he hit's the ufa Market and signs with us for top dollar.

Why do we need a LD in Phaneuf when we have Greene, Merrill, Gelinas, Salvador and Volchenkov.
